Houston wide receiver Andre Johnson was one of the few bright spots for the Texans during Week 14 against the Patriots. Johnson hauled in a team-high eight receptions for 95 yards in the 42-14 blowout loss, which marked the sixth time this season he has caught at least eight passes in a game. He had a long of 25 yards but was unable to find the end zone in the defeat. Johnson averaged 11.9 yards per reception and was targeted 10 times by quarterback Matt Schaub, which was also a team high.

Johnson did all he could Monday night, but the Patriots locked in on him from the opening whistle and made sure most of his receptions came underneath. Considering he was double teamed for most of the contest, Johnson still turned in a fairly productive performance and has now racked up 48 receptions over his last six games. He has been one of more productive receivers around over the past few weeks and should remain active in all formats when the Texans welcome the Colts to town in Week 15.
